Need Board Of Veterans Appeals Fax Number, Please

Question

Does anyone have a current fax number for the Board of Appeals for Veterans' Claims?

The 202-565-4720 number that's listed on the VA website doesn't pick up, we've been trying for two days to send something. Evidently, it's been changed and has become top secret information.

I'm sending something to James Terry, Chairman of the Board, so if anyone has a fax number for this gentleman in particular, I would greatly appreciate the information.

Thanks!

I have had 3 letters from Chairman Terry since I got my BVA award- but I just checked and there is no fax number or phone number at all on the letterhead-

I responded by regular mail-

Have you emailed the BVA ombudsman for a fax number?

I will look through my paperwork to see if I have anything else that would help you-but I found that the BVA mailroom is much more efiicient than the RO mail rooms.

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.

Thank you Berta, I'm doing both, fax and certified mail.

Berta, what does it mean with the Chairman of the Board, James Terry, says the VARO notified the Board that a remanded claim had been "withdrawn?" Especially, when the veteran hadn't received anything from the VA, nor did he ask to withdraw a remanded appeal?

That's what I'm trying to correct. This remand has been bouncing around the VA for 15 years, eight on remand status. These are the remanded appeals we finally received an SSOC on last October after we filed the Writ of Mandamus request. We NOD'd the decision in November 2008, and haven't heard a word since. When I asked a Congressman to get involved, he got a letter from Mr. Terry saying the remand had been withdrawn, and that the veteran should contact the VARO if he has a different understanding (he sure does!).

They didn't explain what "withdrawn" means, or who withdrew it. The Board said it was withdrawn May 4, 2009, and I have an IRIS response at the same time saying a decision had been reached, but they didn't know how long it would take to process it and notify the veteran (my husband). So, at the same time they're withdrawing it, they're rating it? I'm totally confused...

HUH? That makes no sense to me-

a remand was withdrawn? I have never heard that before-

I am baffled on this-

What VARO is this and I will find some internal phone numbers for you to call-

The woman I talked to said they're not accepting faxes.

That's baloney...

New Orleans, and they've recently relocated to 1250 Poydras Street in New Orleans (no longer in Gretna, LA). I can't find anything else on them.
