Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted January 9, 2010 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 9, 2010 When I got out of the military, I was told to visit the VA and turn in my medical records. I got there and the guy asked me if I was stupid. Then he proceeded to make a copy of them and handed me the originals with advice to store them in a safe place. You always want to have a copy of: 1. SMR's 2. VA treatment records 3. Private treatment records 4. Military personnel file 5. VA C-file Because you are still on appeal, you might be able to get some of these quickly. Others, like the military personnel file and VA C-file might take a while to receive.

Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted January 9, 2010 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 9, 2010 Glad to help. Having those records will be a big help. When you receive copies, be sure to check and see if anything was missing. I received my VA treatment records, but they did not contain the results of an Upper GI examination back in the late 1990's. Still tracking it down...

Is your claim in washington or your local regional office if your c-file is in washington it will delay the claim Loma Linda Bill
