how long did it take for an initial decision?

i think my first denial was like a year. another year to file the appeal. then finally a c&p. then another year and another c&p and still waiting.

You need a Congressional Inquiry from one of your US Senators or from one of your US Congressman. Easy to do, choose the Congress person, find out their email address for the Chicago office and email them your situation. You will receive an email back with cetain questions you must answer, complete the questions, email back to the Congressional office and watch what happens.

i have sent in the email forms stating my situation, now its time for a phone call, a little hesitant about it, but maybe tomorrow

The denial letter took only 7 months for me
