acesup
I asked my VA PCP last fall to get me fee basis for chiropractic care for my SC back. He said I would need a consult with a Physical Medicine doctor. I kept feeling like I was getting the runaround. Last month, I called the Patient Advocate. He got me an appointment with the PM doc. I finally met with that PM doc last week, he did an examination and looked over my MRIs, and he had no problem ordering the chiro care. They approved me for 16 visits over next 8 weeks, then I'll request less frequent visits from then on. If you can't get your PCP to order fee basis for chiro, or whatever else, try the Patient Advocate.
