Quibley
I filed my claim in April 2009. In January 2010, I was awarded 10% SC for tinnitus and my PTSD claim was deferred pending a C&P which I have completed. For an initial determination, how much longer do you think I will have to wait? JustPLS
I first filed in Atlanta in March, 2007. I didn't get a decision until September, 2008, and no contact at all from them until April 2008. I hope it goes faster for you.

My guess would be about 6 - 12 months after your C&P was done. jmho, carlie

Quibley
Well for what it's worth, when I logged on to VA eBenefits today, I saw that I am out of development phase and back to the decision phase. Hope to hear something soon. It appears that when I had my C&P exam for PTSD, my c-fike did not contain my verified stressor -ie...the CID report documenting the attempted robbery and assault. Authorization kicked back my decision to the rated and invalidated my C&P and had the original examiner re-write her medical opinion based on the verified stressor. I do not know if the end result will be good or bad for me, but at least it's the right thing to do. Hope I hear something soon Quib
