Question

Hi,

If your putting in a claim for an increase for sc condition and you want to file something secondary, should you file for the increase first and wait for that to finish before filing the secondary or file all of it at the same time?

Thanks,

sbrewer

The opinion of lazy service officers is to file claims one at a time, but all this costsa vet is an early effective date on those not filed but waiting to be filed. VA is perfectly experienced in handling multiple claims.

PS -- This is not to say to load up a good claim with BS ones. The danger there is that the VA will think they are all BS and treat them accordingly.

As soon as you understand that the VA OWES you something, FILE AT ONCE.

Like Alex Said,

The effective date is the real issue, not clogging the system or muddying your claim.

Those that need help the most are the ones least likely to receive help from the VA.

It's up to us to help each other.
