Berta I wonder how many even know about this program that the lawsuit last year opened the door for? How many have stopped watching the news and have nothing to do with the VA, veterans groups or have been contacted by DOD telling them they might be eligible for benefits as a result of this court case? I imagine they are treating them as well as they have the Edgewood vets in other words no out reach and just hope these men and women just stay silent until it's to late.

I believe you are 100% correct there.

What gets me is that any good VSO should have been aware of this lawsuit and could have advised veterans to at least look into it- even though it would not be a POA matter-(or would it?- this lawsuit could have encouraged many PTSD vets with low ball PTSD discharge % to file for higher rating-maybe all VSOs and reps should have gone through all their vet files to see who it applied to.

When the VA says they contacted x amount of veterans for Y and Z I NEVER believe them.
