i have had pre dm and now dm since `99 and just recently found out i have neuro and a heart murmur can i claim the heart murmur and neuro because i never i never had this before. thanks for all your help !!!!!!!!!!! 11b 13b 968-69 and 70-71

Are you service connected for DM2? You need to file a claim for increase in DM2 and any complications of DM2, especially peripheral neuropathy, which is a common complication.

Were you exposed to Agent Orange? Do you have coronary artery disease/ischemic heart disease? YOu may wish to file a claim for that as well; it was recently added to the list of Agent Orange conditions.

You should also have the Murmur checked to rule out Acquired Aortic Stenosis. This leads to a calcified heart valve and Surgury is the only option as the Aorta becomes as thin in diameter as a pencil.

It is pretty rare, But I Have seen it twice in the last 4 months.
