Median Nerve Vs C6 Radiculopathy

Rate this question

Question

Hello all! I just received copy of my c&p exam and it states: It is at least as likely as not that the vets current c6 radiculopathy is the result of the DDD of cervicaL spine. Vets DDD Cspine is causing neural foraminal stenosis, resulting in c6 radiculopathy.

Questions that I have are:

1 The nerve that is affective is the median nerve. Looking at the 38 cfr will they rate on the median nerver or will they rate on the upper radical group (fith and six cervicals) just trying to get an idea so to watch out for the va low balling me.

2 I am currently rated at 20% for left lumbar radiculopathy would this be considered bilatteral even though the cervical radiculopathy is on the left side also?

Thanks for any help

I have the same condition. Left Median nerve. It depends on the severity of the neuropathy. They may rate the most severe but they will not add 2 different ratings for the same nerve. It could be considered pyramiding.

that condition really sucks, dont it. I cant even tyope left handed any more because of it.
