Using tissue samples taken from IBS patients, investigators discovered a ribonucleic acid (RNA) mechanism that could lead to damage of the colon membrane. They found that this RNA reduced production of glutamine, an amino acid that prevents diarrhea, bloating and abdominal pain.

I am always interested in hearing new for IBZ, it is truly a rotten miserable disease... and to make things worse, it's considered a bogus diagnosis, a garbage dx just to tell sufferers they actually have a health problem.. or even in their head..
