Decision With Incorrect Dates

Question

Sorry if this is an old story, but I received a decision with incorrect birthdates for my kids, and therefore incorrect cut-off dates for their benefits. Also, the amount being withheld for severance has DECREASED resulting in a deposit that I wasn't expecting. It would be great if I knew the change was permanent, but I don't want to do anything with the money until I'm sure I can actually keep it.

Anyone ever had this happen?

I've tried to submit question via IRIS, but the system won't respond with anything but a CGI error. Any help would be appreciated.

Can't say I have had this problem but just in case I would send them a letter or fax it to them to make sure you have made them aware of it. Also keep a copy for yourself. Having things in writing are the ONLY way to deal with them!

Still-

Thanks, and again appreciate the feedback. I've already faxed in a request, and will follow up with a letter and a copy of the incorrect dates sent by the VA.
