HelloDoes anyone know if when you submit your claim on VONAPP and than you floow up with additional documents for additional evidence if the y get it right away?Because I have not mailed anything to them just used the VONAPP for all the records with the VA Form 21-4138 except the forms for release of records the County officers sent those.Does anyone see a problem with this.

I did that, and then followed up with copies I dropped off. In about a week I ended up with 2 copies of that stuff on my claim.

My recollection is that you receive a confirmation number by email as soon as you submit the application. Submitting by VONAPP establishes your application date. After I used VONAPP, I was told where to send any information I had. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies, I did get the email on the first claim,but I just keep summiting the papers through the computer,this way I have it documented when I print it off and show the va info on the top of all the copies and confirmation number.
