Great article.

And an important one.

I heard a stat that said one of every three seniors falls every year.

And many of those falls can mean a hip or leg has been broken.

The CHAMPVA Magazine had a good article last year on falls too.

I dont get this-Neither Medicare nor CHAMPVA pays for prescription orthonics and they can be costly.

If I didnt wear orthonics I would probably fall over.If one has severe ankle pronation- there ankle turns inward and the knee can follow- causing balance problems.

I tried to use a cane when I was waiting for my orthonics-to hit some yards sales a few years ago- and almost tripped over the cane.

Canes can be dangerous and they must be used carefully.
