I have called the 800 number 3 times since then, and each time they tell me that the appeals center still has the claim. Most of the time the lines are too busy.
I have now signed up for e-benefits, the basic account, but it says in order to get a premium account that will actually do anything, I need to go to my regional office to sign up. I can't drive down to St. Pete for this.
Has anybody else found another way to access this, without having to drive 2 hours? Everything else seemed to move at a faster pace, now I've heard nothing since April.
