Berta Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 If a VA med causes a condition at a ratable level- the VA will often comp for the secondary it causes. Some times a med cannot be changed for one with less side effects, The GERD due to NSAIDS is a good example. VA has SCed many vets who got GERD due to VA prescribed NSAIDs. Unfortunately BVA has been down and they have claims there as example of what I mean. I contacted the BVA ombudsman to see what is up at the BVA web site. GRADUATE !
