From Gathering Of Evidence To Completed Case

Question

I called my congressman due to the lack of effort on the VA's part in getting my treatment records. He responded that he would look into it. Today I checked my e-benefits and it said my case was completed. However, there was a message that they want me to send my treatment records. Does anyone have any idea what this means. Did they turn me down?

I filed for increase for asthma 0%, and ankle 10% and toe %injury in jan2011 and new claim for mental illness. when I filed i filled out all the release of information paper work for the VA to get my treatment records. I sent them to the VA 4 times. I found out that the VA didn't send any request to the MTF till December 2011. I called my congressman. Yesterday I checked e-benefits and it has my claim as open but that they want me to get service treatment records. They also have the claim as closed.

I sent all the medical documentation that I had. I didn't have any of my behavioral health records due to the army's refusal to let me have them. I did give them a copy of my profile which would prove service connection and all the notes from my civilian psychiatrist. I amalso working on getting a line of duty form.
