Has anyone else had their VA disability claim file flagged by a congress person? I did everything i could to get my claim going, After I contacted my congressman asking them to see why my claim hasn't moved since DRO hearing in 2010 (I gave my congressman's office, a two page letter telling them everything from beggining to end..), my congressman's office sent me a letter. The letter says, to the effect, my VA disability claim file is flagged to check it's status in a few months.
Back in April 2012, I sent the VA claims regional office a paper, a request, begging the advance my claim because of serious health issues.... basically, I am suffering form a terminal disease, incurable, prone to hospitalizations, and at any time I could become too ill and sick to care for myself, or even die.. and that I would like and need my claim to move forward before I become too sick to fight for the benefits for my family and myself.., I asked it to be a 'hardship claim'.
I have done everything possible to give them info they already had but ignored..
Has anyone else gone through their congressman's office, and if so, what happened?
Thanx..
btw, the surgeons gave me a prognosis for my necrotizing pancreatitis,, thrombosis, etc... it said: 'poor'
I was given a list of the disease and the prognosis of each.. at the time of hospital discharge.
I was told if I get one more infection they will remove my pancreas. They cannot operate on it, or take part of it.. because it is too diseased..
