Question

I am 100% SC through the VA, as well as the Army. I just got my Orders from the Army (National Guard) with a date that they will be adding me to the retirement list. I know I read somewhere that if I completed 15+ years in the guard, I would receive retirement pay along with my VA pay, but I am not sure if I am 100% right on that...so I guess that is my first question. I was in the National Guard, but on activated when I got messed up.

Second question, if I am right, how do I know if I made that cutoff? It has two areas with time on the orders: first is the "Disability Retirement- 11 years, 2 months, 11 days" and then there is the "Basic Pay- 15 years, 0 months, 26 days". So my total time is the basic pay, right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
