Question

hello all,

how do you thinik a rater will respond to my complaint about medication causing side effects that make me vomit, almost regardless of the medication. I was perscribed so many different medications over the years, i have always complained about it too. When i awoke from a hernia operation the anestesia made me vomit. I feel sooo natious when on pain meds. Anti depressants make me feel like a freaking zombie. sudafed makes me seasick. I havent taken either in quite some time. when i am on them, i cant function, when i am off them i am hurting, and suffer several depression episodes a day from uncontrollable crying to rage. the turmoil that my inability to consume medication drives me absolutely crazy. I have a dr appointment in week and i hope he can spend a little time with me to discuss what is the best course of action. he always seems to hurry me out the door, but he is a good dr. and i have had him since 2004.

any insight would be greatlly appreciated

I have heard of meds being used for ratings such as ED which appears to be pretty commonly granted. In you case you are probably fishing because if the side effects bother you then you stop taking them.

If they could dx a problem why they are bothering you, then maybe you would be granted under that dx but I don't see them giving you a rating for just side effects.
