As far as for the State and Govt, yes he can claim you if you live with him over 6 months, and he provides over half of the income needed to take care of you. For Example now that I am fully disabled and unable to work, my wife can now claim me as a dependent on our taxes. Each state has there own tax issues, so make sure and check with them first. Also have you filed for SSDI yet, It sounds like you are unemployeable. Sorry to hear of your troubles.
