Submitted Wrong Doc On Ebenefits

Question

Hello all,

I have an open claim for IBS. I found some very helpful templates on here for writing a statement in support of my claim. While using ebenefits, I made a pretty dumb mistake and submitted another veteran's template statement for IBS instead of mine. I followed up by submitting my actual statement and explained to disregard the initial document submittal. Not sure why ebenefits doesn't have a delete document or view document option.

I followed the same format on the template, but it is not a word for word copy.

Feel like an idiot, as this may discredit me to the rep. that looks over my documents and claim.

Any advice? Much appreciated!

I had a similar problems with ebenifits, turned out good in the end. You can read my thread I started, concerning my screw ups. I don't think you will have a problem.

2004-06= 0%

2006-13= 10%

2013-14= 30%

2014-17= 90%

2017= 100%

2018 = 100% PT (still at BVA)

I agree with marine0816, I don't think you will have a problem. Let's be real, they might not even read either document. And if they do, you explained what happened. The medical evidence is really what holds the most weight when they rate the claims, not the vet statements. The vet statements are good for providing them a reason to order a c&p exam, that's about it.
