Question

I was reading some other thread and taking excellent advised to start a claim to save the date. I haven't filed one online before so I get to the "Military Pay records" section. I get to this screen:

Type of Military Pay Gross Monthly Pay Actions

You must enter at least one Military Payment Record to continue

To get any further I have to click "Add a Military Payment"

Then I get:

Add a Military Payment

**Required to Continue*Required to Submit

**(Field required.)What type of military pay are you receiving?
Longevity
Permanent Disability Retired List (PDRL)
Separation
Severance
Temporary Disability Retired List (TDRL)
**(Field required.)What is the gross monthly payment amount you are receiving?($999,999.99)

(If I don't put something other than $0.00 in here it won't go...)

I'm not currently receiving any kind of pay from the Military. I did receive SSB but that is being "recouped" right now so I'm not even getting VA Compensation yet. Can anyone tell me how to proceed?

When I logged into Ebennies, I hovered over "Apply foe Benefits" and clicked "Apply for Disability Compensation", now when I click it it says, "

Disability Compensation Benefits
You have already started an application for disability compensation benefits.

You will now be directed to your open application."

It's taking me thru "Applicant Information","Military Service History", (which is the section I'm stuck on), Then "Disability Records", Treatment Records", "Special Circumstances", "Supporting Documents", and then "Final Review & Submission".

There isn't any form number that I can find....

I'll check that. I didn't see a check box, just options to select from a drop - down box. Maybe I missed it, thanks.

Edit - I remember what you're talking about. Part of that question mentioned retirement, separation, or severance pay. I'll have to see if it says "currently"... again thanks.
