I got a letter in the mail today informing me that the VHA Handbook 1173-15, Clothing Allowance has been revised. Which means that they have cut things that they will pay for when it comes to the appliances we were given.
If you get clothing allowances please check out the handbook. I have read it and I just don't see how they came to the conclusion that wearing a device covered with fabric will not cause wear and tear on your clothing especially if they have been paying it for many years. It doesn't make sense when you rub two fabrics together the friction will cause the material to bead and thin thus causing it to tear.
If anyone has any info to share on this it will be appreciated.
