FDC Claim question

Question

I submitted my claim a few months ago.  A week ago, I saw someone at the VA for the same condition, and I called the 1800 hotline about it. They said they will notify the RO to get that evidence. The person on the phone said ur claim will still be FDC. Now I am worried. Will I still be on FDC track?

It is hard to say, remember that when a Vet files for an FDC Claim, they are stating that all needed evidence is there upon filing for claim to be completed. Good luck and keep us posted

The VA has immediate access to your VA medical file. It's electronic. There is no need to send it in as evidence, when the treatment takes place at the VA. Just calling to point out that you we're seen recently should not affect your FDC claim. I say should, because we're always at the mercy and interpretation of the person handling the claim and some of them are not too bright. You should be fine.
