One of the vets I helped to become 100% wife is sick and needs long term care. He can't afford Assistant Living because they don't have that type of insurance as well as the $50,000.00 in their savings account. She gets Champ VA along with Medicare, etc. He would rather she get Assistant Living Care than to place her in a nursing home, because he feels that they can be in an assistant living place together. Does anyone know if the VA have an Assistant Living facility for both vet and his spouse? If so have they used such facilities and what is it called and how do this vet get info about such? .They live in Connecticut. Please post info so that I can get it to him. Thanks in advance for your replies.
