navycoms
I just had my C&P with LHI for anxiety and depression but the Dr said he thinks i have PTSD, Dysthymia, Agoraphobia and Generalized Anxiety. My question is if i didn't claim those disabilities do i need to resend a claim for those disabilities?

If you alone can look at the findings in your Letter, and KNOW you have the criteria met, take your letter to a VA accredited Lawyer. That sounds like good advice. I should get a descion within the next month according to ebenefits. I got a favorable C&P with most symptoms for 100% checked off. Now the waiting game. 0 Andyman73
Osccore9, Technically all you need is one in the higher bracket, to get that level of rating. However, as you may have learned by now, the VA does what it wants, with little or no regard to the outcome. Which is the main reason for the huge backlog of initial claims, appeals and such. Question. What if someone gets 100%, are they disqualified to participate in the Voc Rehab program?
0 Andyman73
Most likely depends on how they got to 100%...extra schedular(multiple SCDs added up to 100%) or if they have one or two SCDs that did it. If you are 100% for MH issues or PTSD it would seem kinda hinky that you can work for more than a few hours at a time. But if you have a basket full of SCDs and they combined together to get you there, it should be no problem at all. Others here will chime in with better info, tho. navycoms, I forgot to mention this all important alert memo....just because the law says the VA must rate you based on your highest level bracket symptoms...it don't mean they will. More often t

Hello Andyman73, If someone has 4 out of the 7 symptoms for 100% PTSD, is it possible that the VA can STILL low ball? Even if the veteran has a nexus or in-service connection.
