As I was getting out of the military, the hospital was still trying to find out some things that were wrong with me..
I filed a disability claim a couple months prior to getting out. And whatever diagnosis (asthma & GERD) I had from the time of filing my claims and separating were not sent as part of my VA Disability Claim.
Furthermore, I've been in and out of the hospital since separating (Dec 2015) because of numbness/pain in my feet, something that has been happening for years.. It was only a minor issue when I was in but has since become a major burden on my life. I spoke with my VA Disability Rep about this prior to separating and for some reason it wasn't included in my claim. I think it was because I lumped it in with my mental health issues which she did include.
I spoke with somebody from the VA today and he told me that a QTC will be scheduling me for mental health, eye & general medical apts.
So do I just mention these things at my general medical appointment or do I have to fill out some additional paperwork?
