When i was i injured I was given a 13 on the Glascow Coma Scale (GCS). I have been doing some research and I have seen that some researchers have proposed breaking up the GCS scale and setting the cutoff for mild at ascore of 14-15. The score for a moderate tbi would be from 13-9.
First off, is there a way to ask that record be changed to reflect current medical research (see link at bottom for journal)? Secondly, is there any benefit to doing it?
