Average wait time for an expedited appeal decision once the judge receives it?

Question

The BVA judge received my expedited appeal on March 9, 2018 but l have not received a decision yet.  Vets.gov lists the wait time as 1-2 months but it's been almost 4 so I would really appreciate any feedback from those of you who have had yours expedited regarding wait time for a decision.  I'm praying for all of my fellow brothers and sisters who are still fighting.  THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance for your help...God bless all of you and thank you for your service!

Well, given that it's been almost a 5 year process for me, I'm not willing to risk delaying it any longer so I will either have to continue to wait or figure out another way.  I'm trying to follow the proper chain of command steps, so to speak, before going up so I submitted an IRIS inquiry Friday and rec'd a reply today.  I asked what was delaying my decision and for an anticipated time of completion and of course rec'd neither.  The reply simply said that my appeal was with a VLJ and as soon as there's a decision, I'll be mailed a copy of it.  So, I replied stating that he hadn't provided the info. that I requested to which he replied, "I don't know when your appeal will be finished."  Ummm.....did you even ask the judge...because you replied back at lightning speed (for VA standards)!!!

Plus, my Congressional Rep. is already working on my behalf for a different issue which hopefully will be done in less than 10 days.  I just thought that in such a large forum, maybe others who had their (non remand) appeals expedited could share how long theirs took so that I could get an idea.  Thank you again for trying to help...I'm so very frustrated...but also very grateful for any insight since my attorney is so busy with other cases that he often doesn't answer my questions but not in a mean, deliberate way.  He's very good which is why so many go to him.  Thank you for your service and God bless!
