VA claim status change

Question

Hi. so I recently checked my claim status for a disability claim a normal claim. And the status now says "your regulatory or procedural review claimhas been closed". So I don't know what that is I was told I had something I filed a claim. Now after some time it changed and I'm wondering what could be the reason why? Did I do something wrong? And should I be worried I'll lose benefits? Thanks.

this seems to be new wording in the VA word-salad

1) that depends on what you did

2) until you are P&T on every rated claim for 20 years, there is always the "possibility" of losing benefits.

that said, there are barriers to losing benefits once they are granted. The VA has to follow a very distinct process to reduce ratings and benefits.

I don't know your details, but in general if you haven't tried to cheat the VA (and I am not suggesting you did) then I would not sweat what "might" happen...the variables are too many and the possibilities are endless.

If you are actually waiting for a claim decision, you should get a BBE relatively soon. That will the point to understand if you need to worry or not.

I know that is not much in the way of being supportive, but it is factual.
