Spinal Cord Stimulator

Rate this question

Question

I just completed a Laminectomy and Spinal Cord Stimulator implant surgery a few months ago.  I was wondering if there were any members who had something similar completed along with a VA Claim. There is very little knowledge available on this surgical procedure in correlation with a VA claim.  If anyone could assist with what a service-connected rating % might be it would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

K9Guy:

Welcome to hadit.   You had posted this in an older post, so I split it into a new post, so you can get more, better answers.

While I dont know much about Spinal implants, every VA claim pretty much needs either a presumptive or the Caluza elements to suceed.

Is this the one they do for pain management? I don't know much about how the VA handels it. I do know someone who had one done and it changed his life. Took him off pain meds that he had been on for 25 years.
