What is the A7 system in VA.GOV?

Good question.  I have used VA.GOV for years and even uploaded documents and claims to VA.GOV but never heard of A7 systems.

I would have to agree with dustoff.  In searching for A7, there were inconsistent results.  However, this does not necessarily mean that the VA is planning a new system dubbed "A7", or, even that it was a discarded old system.  

We call it "VBMS" (Veterans Benefit management system) or "efile" which suggests an "electronic claims file".  

VA does have its own lingo and alphabet soup, most of which is well known by Veteran advocates.
