Smc (T) For Tbi

[Trouble]

Put in for SMC T to be looked at Oct 6, 2023 online shows Oct 12 closed and decision made. I have concerns because it came quickly, no C & P.  Husband is 100 TBI residuals and other things and 10% TBI He is in the late stages of Alzheimer’s (which is service connected to his TBI) Letter is not showing online yet.

You should be able to go to va.gov and click check your status and there should be a link to read the decision or down load it.

That’s weird. I would request a c/p exams as those things should be evaluated. In my experience the Va is quick to order an exam unless they had all needed information. I’m sure they just didn’t bother to schedule you or forgot.

I just did this today 800-Betty because I had the same thing happen to me. You can have them Fax you or email you the answer if it does not appear in the download it in va.gov.
