Thanks in advance <{POST_SNAPBACK}> John, I am not Berta nor could I ever begin to obtain the knowledge she has on VA claims but I do not think a lung would qualify. A creative organ is one that allows the reproduction of human life. Loss of could result from Erectile Dysfunction, actual loss of or part of or a deformity. Guest Berta
<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ricky is right that there are many cirscumstances for loss of creative organ: http://www.warms.vba.va.gov/regs/38CFR/BOO...ART3/S3_350.DOC at that link however, they dont mention additional losses as secondary to multiple sclerosis, and diabetes mellitus and I would think that many SC medications for many conditions could cause this. There is no C & P (I hope) and they will consider your disability and maybe a statement from significant other would help, if that is really needed. My vet rep with DMII told me he only had to tell the C & P doc that his penis bends and he cannot get full erection. He gets the K award of $ 82.00 and also viagra from VA but he cant use it due to the DMII has caused him heart disease. The lung removal- are you a Vietnam in country vet and was this due to cancer? or did you have tuberculosis? `
Guest jstacy
Berta, The Lung disorder is from a service connected Cervical spine Injury. The Injury paralyzed the nerve that controls the Diaphragm. Va has already added the Nexus between the two. I have had 3 different doctors retire me. According to the PFT I had the DLCO is below the threshold for 100%I filed the claim last week and I am asking for retro back to the original rating when I went to the va complaining abous Dyspnea. Guest Berta
John- did the VA treat you promptly for the dypesia when you complained? I am not familiar with that term but is this too associated with your SC claim problems? Did you request TDIU and send them the 21-8940? TDIU -Total Disability Due to unemployability- the 100% rate- about $2,300 a month.
