Question

Hello New to your forum... :)

My question is this. I am 10% SC for Malaria thats now 0%

I was awarded SSDI in 2010, for DDD and PTSD,

In Janauary 2010 I filed a claim with the VA for

PTSD, DDD with MRI records, Migraines, High Blood Pressure,

TInnitus, Hypertension, Loss of hearing in Right ear with audio

gram and MRI.

They scheduled me for PTSD, TInnitus,& Malaria ONLY.

I submitted all my medical documents from the last past year MRIs

and documents from all doctors.

My VA Psy has told me I also have a Bi Polar disordser

secondary to the PTSD and my PCP said possible Diabetes II will know next week

I have a appointment with VA PCP for the Migraine agian, Diabetes II test .

Here my questions why was I only shceduled for the PTSD, Malaria , TInnitus

for my C&P's.

Are they going to use my MRI for DDD and Hearing loss and not do a C&P

for the other things. I wasnt scheduled for the a C&P for the DDD, Hypertension

so are they going to use my current medical UCLA records for the other they didnt

schedule me for.

I have 3 C&P in the next 30 days, than what do they rate me after than my

claims is 10 months old and i provided them everything i could.

Last question, should i give my C&P doctor my nexus self letter of my condition

I have great Nexus letter from my PCP doctor connecting in my c-file.

Or should i just send it Certifed mail and so the rater have it before they rate me,

or let the C&P examaniers see it also before it get to the rating stage ?

THANKS FOR THE GREAT SITE AND BLESS ALL

BLESS ALL !

I can't answer a lot of your questions, but can the last group.

Make copies of any info going out of your hands so you always have a record of it at home (sorry, just wanted to be sure you do)

Send the nexus letter to the VA (certified return receipt or hand deliver to get a receipt). The rater is the one who needs it.

Take a COPY of that letter with you to the C&P along with your medical records in case YOU need to refer to them.

The examiner should have your records from the rater to examine before the C&P.

Just a comment on the other questions. Sometimes they don't need to examine because the records are current and explain your condition nicely.
