0 pwrslm
Cervical spine is the neck. Lumbar is lower back (normally identified as the 5 vertebra just above the hip bone). Ratings are all over the board, what kind of pain and do you have any other symptoms? You can get 0% for lumbar strain, this is something that you would have gotten over. If you have pain on motion, min you can get is 10%. Limitation of ROM is how they rate the spine, the neck/cervical spine is rated separate from the rest of the spine (thoracic, lumbar and Sacrum). The more limitation, the higher the rating. Max is 50% each, cervical and then thoraco-lumbar-sacrum, so that if the entire spine is frozen, its 100%. Typically if you have a spine problem that is significant enough to garner a 20% or 40% rating, you will also have nerve problems, or radiculopathy, radiating into your arms and/or legs. The peripheral neuropathy can be rated separately from the spine and can be significant depending on the severity of the situation.
