Robert, I am afraid of surgery because I am fearful about permanent nerve damage in my toes and feet. Does anyone have shooting pain or aching in your ankle?

I have facet arthritis in L3 to S-2 and I have 2 bulging disc. Twisting and bending cause muscle spams and the neuropathic (nerve) pain is chronic. I have weakness on right side and my toes aches, sole of feet hurt all the time, burning in my hips, shap pain in my ankle. I have started a journal. i am unable to do daily cleaning, problem prepare meal for my family, and i do not drive any more. i have numbness and my feet is alway going to sleep. often, I wake up at night with pain in my ankle and knee.

I’m getting the same thing and I did not see a message about any schedule maintenance on the site for this weekend.

I have degenerative joint disease (facet arthritic of the lumbar spine) with sciatic pinched nerve affect my right hip, knee, ankle and foot(toes).I have flares up offer and the pain is starting to affect my left hip and toes. I have been out of work for two year how and i am more despressed because of the pain and my daliy activities are limit how. My question would it be better for me to waiting on surgery until after my QTC from VA.
