Hello,
I have an appeal that was decided April 5 by the BVA. The appeal was granted in my favor.....an increase from 50 to 70% by the BVA. I have not heard much from the regional office so I sent an inquiry and recieved this email today:
Your appeal is currently in the final stages of processing. A rating decision was made on July 8, 2013, and your appeal is now waiting for final review. Once the decision has been reviewed and processed in our system, we will notify you by mail.
I am confused as to why they would have to make another rating decision because the BVA already made one in the letter it read:
An initial rating of 70% is allowed.
Does this mean from the time I filed?
Also does anyone know what rating decision the regional office makes on BVA appeals?
Thank you
