malandroaz got a reaction from Andyman73 in 2 Seconary Claims for 1 S/C? Can you?
I updated my profile to reflect my S/C %. Currently I am at 70% for various injuries. However, I was unaware of secondary injuries when I filed so I have nothing filled for depression, chronic pain for my injuries.

    Click on APPLY then COMPENSATION

the window that pops up at the top it reads "Disability Compensation" and "ADD OR REMOVE DEPENDANTS"

Click on the dependants button and then start that application. be prepared to have the marriage license and social for spouse and birht certificate and social for children.

Go through that and then also add a sworn affidavit that dependants were listed on deers and should have been included from the effective date of the reward, etc.

This way they will pay the retro you were due for a spouse and child.

BTW if you have any kids in the future, go in there before the birth and start the add/remove dependents and add the child but dont submit it.

    the day they are born...

    1) submit the claim for adding new dependent with the correct birthdate

    2) have application for a social security number already read and filled out with a stamped envelope

    3) have application for copy of birth certificate ready and with stamped envelope (some hospitals will have this for you and ready to go, depends)

Mail out birth certificate letter first. once you get it make a copy of it and include it with the application for social security number and mail that out.

Once you get your childs social security card, make a copy of birth certificate and upload that to the claim for dependent and enter the social security number

BTW be prepared to wait. I submitted the documents to my addition of dependents within 2 weeks of his birth, 9 months later it was approved. However i did have a comp claim in at the same time and both decisions came out within days of each other. not sure if the comp claim held it up, etc. but it did take a long time to just look at two documents and come to the conlcusion he was a real person and also my child...
