Gretting to all here at hadit:
The sun has risen..Filing for a VA claim is about the same
as tossing yourself in a garbage disposal..The people at the RO are nothing more than paper pushers period..All the time it takes to go from Triage team, to development team, to rating board, postdetermination team, to public contact..
Our claims might get looked a seriously by the raters for a brief moment, they either want to make quick decision or send it back to the pre-determinaton team, because we all know they have quotas!
I just cant believe all that other time is merely spent pushing around your claims folder..Here it is all these vets have claims in, but its nothing more than a paper chase until the rater sees your claim for that brief moment.
Now this seems very strange, going throurgh all these steps and procedures to ensure you have a proper claim, just to toss it in the VA's Garbage Disposal. At least we do get an effective date before the they turn on the disposal switch.
Now I know the VA is suppose to be there for you after disabiling injures , or disease..But suppose to be and being there a 2 very different things...
Dont get me wrong, I'm not the type of guy trying to get benefits that are not due!!Just trying to figure out why I even joined the military, oh I know, to be all I can be, and VA would have your back in case of serious injury..Yes they have my back, but waaaaaaaaaaay back...
All comments welcome espically those supporting todays VA
Please tell me, do I have a wrong opinion about them, and they way the system is designed.
