  1. Very true! Sometimes it's actually hard to be polite.....lol. Speak soft, but carry a big stick! Hahaha. Semper Fi!
  2. Thank you so much! I will definitely not give up, just continue to ask politely. Semper Fi!
  3. Gastone, no I have never been referred. Seen a doctor numerous times for loss of feeling and numbness in hands, arms, and legs. Was given the monofilament test and was told it was Paresthesia due to my RLS. Even though symptoms got worse, I was never referred for an EMG. However, I did see a VA Neurologist, and was given the ever popular monofilament test then as well. Then again during C&P exam. The VA Neurologist would not complete a DBQ for me. She said that is the responsibilty of the Benefits side of VA. Never understood that, but never argued with them. I'm just glad that I

  5. I did have some other tests done, but an EMG was not one of them. Had a test done where they hooked me up to a machine to check reflexes. Not sure what it was called, but it wasn't and EMG. Then had the monofilament test by a private doc. The C&P examiner also did the monofilament test. Is the mono test sufficient for rating purposes? The examiner said that they are used all the time. Regardless, I will complete any exam that they ask me to. The more proof the better. Loosing feeling in a hand, arm, or leg is horrible! I just hope that I don't lose all feeling completely one day.
  6. Thank you guys for your input. I understand that it's hard to know what a rater might give. But the feedback is greatly appreciated!
  7. Thank you for the input! Yes, I have been earning more than than 12k, but it is getting harder and harder to work. I would love to work as long as I can, but as you said, eventually I will not be able to. I had to give up things I love like hunting, and hiking, and I hate that it has come to this. I was thoroughly examined at the VA by Neurology, and the C&P examiner did a great job too, and for that I am thankful. I am currenly at 90% (93 total) so hopefully this will give me that push to 100.
  8. Ok, I scanned and attached the pdf version. Sorry for the original format. If someone could offer some insight on what I might be rated according to these exam notes, that would be great! Doc - Oct 25 2016 - 11-47 AM (1).pdf
  9. I'm 90% (93 total), and just had 3 favorable C&P exams. Expecting at least 20% for one, and 10% for the other 2, which would put me at 96 total. So even when I minus the 20% for the non-static disability, it still puts me at 95 total. No, I am not TDIU, but schedular.
  10. If you have disabilty ratings that add up to 100% and they are static, and then you have one future exam scheduled for another disability, but it doesn't change your 100% rating whether that rating changes or not, can you still be rated P&T?
  11. Did you recently have a C&P exam? If so, it may mean that they received your exam notes, but haven't acknowleded receipt of them yet. I'm in the same boat, and I know for sure that's what it is. Once they acknowledge it, your claim should go into Prep for Decision if that is all they are waiting for.
  12. Would anyone be able to read over this and offer some input to what the ratings would be? Moderate left arm, severe both legs. COMPENSATION & PENSION NOTE STANDARD TITLE: C & P EXAMINATION NOTE DATE OF NOTE: OCT 13, 2016@10:00 ENTRY DATE: OCT 18, 2016AUTHOR: A EXP COSIGNER: URGENCY: STATUS: COMPLETED Peripheral Nerves Conditions (not including Diabetic Sensory-Motor Peripheral Neuropathy) Disability Benefits Questionnaire Name of patient/Veteran: Is this DBQ being completed in conjunction with a VA 21-2507, C&P Examination Request? [X] Yes [ ] No ACE and Evidence
  13. It probably is a glitch. I'm at 90% (93 total) and just completed a C&P, and all are static, except one 10% rating for a scar. I asked for that rating to be changed to static since the scar is over 20 years old, and is still unstable and painful. I'm hoping to get the P&T but don't think you can if you have one rating not considered static, even if all the static disabilities add up to 100. I may be wrong, but thats how it was explained to me. Anyway, I got excited when I seen that letter and brochure yesterday, but quickly realized it was probably a mistake. But, hopefully here
