Thanks for your response, broncovet. You are absolutely right. I will to wait for the final decision. But your response gave me a much-needed laugh, thanks.

On August 13, 2018, the president signed the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law. Although the NDAA is primarily a legislative vehicle for the Department of Defense (DoD), it contains several provisions that pertain to service disabled veterans and their families.
Space-available travel on DoD aircraft for veterans with service-connected disabilities rated as permanent and total. Veterans who are service-connected permanent and total are eligible to fly on military aircraft, space permitting. This provision can be found under Section 624 of the NDAA
Extension of certain morale, welfare, and recreation privileges to certain veterans and their caregivers. Beginning in January 2020, service-connected disabled veterans and their caregivers will be eligible to use base commissary stores and Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities. This provision can be located under section 621

If you can I recommend getting a doctor to opinion which is the difference without mere speculation which is a term they use often. In my case they lumped my severe TBI with my PTSD together but granted me IU. I myself am in a uphill battle to seperate the ratings. So please ask your C&P doctor to seperate the two if he can. It could be that they are related and it's hard for you to tell.

Hello all!
just wanted to say thank you to all who have helped me in this VA disability thing. I just got my ID card at Hurlburt Field AFB and it feels good! I have continuing struggles and therapy, but otherwise, I am glad this is over. I just wanted to tell anyone that reads this and is struggling, if you have a good case, DO NOT GIVE UP. I have had ALL pleasant experiences with the VA and it was relatively easy to navigate this system and get to my 100% P&T rating for PTSD/MST. I will tell you that you must have your ducks in a row, if you are not in treatment, get there now! Most of my treatment was with the VA, so it was all documented. I had every clear marker that there was in my STR. It is so important to stay organized, get to a Vet Center, get a VSO.......ect............., This is not rocket science, the only reason that it takes them a little bit, (In my case, 9 months), I think is, because they have so many fraudulent claims clogging up the system. If you have a good case, have all your records or can prove clear markers, are getting treatment, be honest at the C&P, then you claim should go just like mine did! If anyone would like to ask any questions, please feel free to message me! I would love to do my best to help ANYONE that is suffering out there! Be blessed everyone!
