  1. I just got my decision on my claim. I'm aware of how bizarre the VA adds up the percentages and how difficult it is, at this stage of reading the decision letter for ME to understand it all. I have been granted 70%, 30%, 20%, 10% and 10% respectively for items of my claim filed early last year. My monthly compensation reflects 100% from now on and they say I'm Unemployable but nowhere in the packet I got in the mail today states what my overall and firm % is. HELP!!!
  2. I just was awarded 100% service connected disability. 3ea questions. Do I get Dental care as a benefit (that is "free" dental care)? Do I still have to get a referal from my VA "provider" or can I go to a hospital, any hospital and circumvent the hassle of having WAIT thru all the steps along the way? Does my spouse get dental ?
  3. About 1 year ago, as part of my claim, I went for a C&P exam to a "doctor" (psychologist) for a PTSD evaluation. One of the strangest experiences in many years. He/She/It, I'm not sure, didn't even ask me what the history of my PTSD was. He also said that he was only interested in the time from filing the claim to my appearing for the appointment. Is that "normal" for a C&P examiner (PTSD) ?
  4. If a Veteran has an existing 70% disability rating and has an injury accident and is taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment is the costs billed to the VA or the Veteran?
  5. Thanks broncovet,  I appriciate your response.

  6. Approx. 10 months ago I reported to an examiner (psychologist) appointed by that outfit that is a subcontractor for the VA. My claim for PTSD has not been decided yet (they say it will be in July of this year). The day after the exam I complained to that outfit that the examiner and his office was dark, intimidating, in a tiny office in a vacant building at the end of dark hallway. The examiner wouldn't let me talk about my "stressors" or give him any history of the cause of my PTSD or any related information to it. They (the subcontractor) said this issue "would be taken under advisement". Is there any way I can find out what his recommendations were that he submitted prior to a decision being made on my claim? Can I ask for a new examiner? Thank You.
  7. I have an IU (unemployability) claim in the works and I wish to upload additional and new information that will support my existing claim. If I do that will it cause the claim decision date (July 2019) to be extended past that date? Is there any downside to submitting additional claim supporting evidence?
