  1. I had my prostate removed in 2019 but I guess not soon enough. I have been getting PSA tests every six months since. Each test shows the antigens slowing increasing. A community doctor has been treating me since 2019. In 2021 I started urinating frank blood. It was determined I had a bladder tumor that had broken off of the bladder wall. Same doctor now treating me for both prostate and bladder cancer. I have had a cystoscopy done every 3-4 months since. I am now scheduled for my 7th bladder surgery in the last 3 years. The same day I was told about the most recent bladder tumor. I returned home to be told I will be scheduled for another C&P. This I think is my 5th C&P, the last was last year in June. It seems for every C&P, I was either just recovering or awaiting another bladder surgery. I understand that VA-B does not like to award 100% P&T for prostate/bladder cancer. But with my history of the bladder tumors returning numerous times. This is even after a 6 weeks of BCG treatments. My question is there a chance the 5th time may determine the P&T status? Or do I just continue with cystoscopy every 3 months and a couple of surgeries a year and yearly C&P's? Thanks for any advise. Paul
  2. I HOPE I would not have to prove boots on the ground all over again. If so it most surely is a delaying tactic. Yes Berta, I have a few stressors in my life. As I stated in my original question, I presently have service-connected rating for PTSD, Tinnitus, bilateral hearing loss and Prostate Cancer. I had Proctectomy in 201prostate they thought they had caught it early but in OR found it had broken through prostate wall. My PSA slowly rises each blood work test. The plan is observe PSA level, if it reaches 2.0 then a course of Salvage radiation would be required. Just as I began getting my head straight about the Prostate cancer, I was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer April 2021. On 5/5/21 I had cancerous neoplasm removed from bladder. I have also been advised that my Prostate cancer is a very aggressive type, and the bladder cancer is the type that often returns. They have all surgical and biopsy reports, not sure what else they may need for decision. I have read that Bladder Cancer and Prostate Cancer are very often found together from Agent Orange. I understand with Covid, and the number of claims filed there would be delays on decisions. I just thought my claim was somewhat straight forth and would not take as long. Thank you all for your advice and understanding DOC PAUL
  3. I presently have rating for PTSD, Tinnitus, Hearing loss and Prostate cancer. In April 2021, I was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. I filed a claim for Bladder cancer since it had recently been listed as one of the Presumptive diseases related to service in Vietnam and exposure to Agent Orange. The claim was received, evidence gathered and has been in review status since August2021. I thought since this was a presumptive cancer, the decision would be determined quicker. Has anyone received a decision for a bladder cancer claim? Thanks for any help and advice offered.
