Hello Broncovet I received info via email from BVA. The Claim was remanded from BVA to VARO with instructions, VARO requested QTC Medical services to review my records. VARO received info from QTC and denied all remands and returned to BVA. BVA notified me by email, all remanded items are granted and I would receive the decision via mail soon. No percentage info of any kind. or EDD, I am not sure if the VARO or BVA will do this.

Hello all I just received notice online that my 4 remands that the VARO denied after QTC records review and then returned to BVA were all approved by the BVA today. Who awards the percentage for these claims? Currently nothing showing in ebenefits. Thanks for any info.

Is there a way to track BVA Remands when they go back to the VARO? I received 1 Approval for HTN and 4 Remands for COPD, Headaches, etc. Thank you for any input.

Hello Broncovet I have the date of the Exam, it was listed in the BVA award. I don't know if that changes anything. I have an appointment in September I guess I can just ask then. Thanks for the info.

I just recently received award for HTN by BVA how do I get a copy of the original Exam? It has been 5 plus years and I am not sure were the exam took place. I checked my healthyvet but did not find anything for the date they ref. Thank you for any info you guys/gals can provide.

Hello PacmanX1 Thank you for the info, I do understand most of it , but I did not stop working until about a year after my CAD rating 1/2021 I thought I would balance right back.

Hello Broncovet Again thanks for your input. No I am not currently receiving SMC S at this time. Sounds right I had my surgery 10/8/2019, attemped to return to work on a part time basis for about a year then just thought in the towel because I was not able to travel as before. Guess I should have followed up on it then.

Hello All After review of my info benefits on Ebenefits I found this in ref. to SMC S1 Entitled to special monthly compensation under 38 U.S.C. 1114, subsection (s) and 38 CFR 3.350(i) on account of coronary artery disease status post coronary artery bypass graft rated 100 percent and additional service-connected disabilities of spondylolysis right L-5, symptomatic, diabetes mellitus, type II, adjustment disorder with depressed mood, instability with left knee DJD (claimed as moderate laxity lateral collateral ligament left knee), sleep apnea, neuropathy, right lower extremity, impairment of sphincter control (claimed as Sciatic nerve neurogenic rectal dysfunction), neurogenic bladder (claimed as Sciatic nerve neurogenic bladder dysfunction), independently ratable at 60 percent or more from 10/08/2019 to 01/31/2020. Rating Date : 01/12/2020how? Now is their a way too get this re-enstated since leaving employment as of 1/2021 and how? , any info would be helpful. Kind Regards

I understand waiting on the remanded item(s) COPD, Headaches, Sinusitis, etc., but How can I get TDIU if I am already 100% P&T as of 2019? Also how does Buie V. Shinseki apply ? or does it?

I recently received a BVA award for HTN rating pending with 4 others being remanded to RO. My current ratings are Sleep Apnea 50, DMII 20, CAD 60, Back L5 S1 20, L-Knee 10, R-Leg Neuropathy 20, DJD L- Leg 10, depressed Mood 50, L-Leg neuropathy 10 Neurogenic Bladder 10, Sciatic Nerve Neurogenic 10. I was at 90% for several years and in Oct 2019 I had LAD by-pass surgery and was awarded 100% P&T. My goal was to continue to work my boss and I have known each other for 35 years so we worked out a plan so I would not have to travel much that lasted about a year so I have been unemployed since 1/2021. Any info on if I should file a claim would be Helpful, I thank all in advance for your input.
