Thank you Betty for your prayers................it's been a rough week for us. Yes: I know about SS @age 62...............I think this is about some type of 'military' credit from Social Security for veterans that Social Security will not tell you about unless you ask................(if you are 100% VA disabled). Anyway I will not trouble you all anymore............when Jim is better we will go to the SS office. Thank you for your responses. Marie

Hello All, This Jim's wife Marie.............I would like to know if it is posted some where here on the forum about Social Security benefits for a spouse after the Vet has recently been awarded 100% disability benefits. Jim is getting Social Benefits already ( started getting them before the VA benefits). I tried to word this the best I could :P Also please keep Jim in your prayers................he's not doing well. Thank you so much and God Bless, Marie

Hello All, If this is the wrong thread please remove.................Well today the "big" white packet from the VA came in the mail today!!! Checked my account and my "award" B) was there. My wife and I have just been crying holding each other and "Thanking the Good Lord" 25 years a long time coming but it's here. To my brothers and sisters that are waiting........I KNOW it's hard but please don't give up!!! Thank you for letting me vent. A Fellow Vet Jim
