  1. im going to reply to myself here so sad to see my fellow vets in the varo hallways holding denial letters from a selfish un caring country and varo boston who use phony comp and pension exams to low ball and deny rightfull benefits.

stay away from jamaica plain campus and west roxbury c and p examiners go to or demand qtc and always come with an ime or medical private medical eval from your own doctor for each and every c and p exam you take. force the c and p to take the ime

if they give you a un fair c and p exam complain in writing they have to put that letter in your c file and send everything to va return receipt

the hearing tests at boston medical centers jp and west rox are a complete scam naturally a deaf person is going to hear you in a sound proof room with the volume kranked to 900dbs if they cant get you their, then they use a phony computer print out to say yeah the computer says his ears work

lie lie lie lie lie lie

these va doctors are not your friends be for warned and armed they type each and everything you say to use against you to deny your benefits

i have no more respect for america any more seeing the way sick veterans are treated

most of veteran friends have moved to canada for medical care i have decided this year to leave america i just want out of this

place sorry if that up sets some folks but i have to tell you straight be well be careful cover your rear watch your flank

money saved is money returned back to the va for employee incentives

i think this si truly the end of this country!!!! Im outa here grent!!

Grent, Have you tried to join a Veterens group and file the claim through them?I had NO luck on my own untill I joined a group ,they deal with the VA all day long and will take the red tape for you so you don't get upset .I hope you change your mind about leaveing the USA cause this is still the best country in the world to live in and serve.Don't give up!!

  3. Your award letter awarding you IU should indicate when you will be re-examined. Have you received notice of an upcoming C&P exam?

I have had IU and SSDI for the past 28 years, so it is possible. There are time periods, 5 years, 10 years and 20 years, when it becomes more and more difficult to reduce by the VA. Someone else will have to explain what happens at those time periods. The only one I know real well is the 20 year mark when the VA is not supposed to be allowed to reduce without showing fraud was involved in the original rating. I don't believe that the VA can reduce IU as the result of only one exam at five years and without showing a documentable improvement in your condition.

Having said that, an attempt was made last year to reduce my disability compensation to my schedular rating because I did not return the 21-4140 employment questionnaire. I found out by accident that the reduction was going to take place less than a week later. The regs say that I am not required to fill our and return one. I informed them of that fact but they would not acknowledge their own regulations. I sent them copies of the regulation. Didn't make a damned bit of difference, so I finally faxed them a filled out copy of the form and no reduction happened.

Read broncovets post again and take heed. Nothing is permanent. They own the ball, the playing field, the refs, the fans and the rules. Be pro-active and give them no opportunity to reduce. Go to your appointments, take your medications, and discuss your disability with your PCP occasionally. In the latter, occasionally inform your PCP of the negative impact has on your life including how you still cannot work. You can ask that your PCP Keep copies of your medical records up to date. If you notice something inaccurate and/or incomplete, mention it to your PCP and ask that they clarify the entry. Most are honest, overworked, but honest and should agree to your request.

Also, keep your copy of your C-file complete and up to date.

Stay a member of hadit and check out Jim Strickland's explanation of IU on VAwatchdog.org. You will learn a bunch.

    Good luck

Thank you so so much Dan (avatar)

  7. This is an employment verifaction form that all TDIU persons have to fill out every year. If you have not worked in the past 12 months simply fill out section 2 and return it asap. It has nothing to do with progress notes etc.......

  10. I just sent in my 21-4140 to my DAV NSO to be given to VA, I'am 100% IU since 2002 and they payed me from 1998 on a remand from DC VA appeals dept.I'am worried that I will get a c&p exam.,On my award in the little box where it says future exams,It says NONE in capital letters,The NSO says it is P&T as do others I also got the forms for benifits for people with P&T and they state it on the paperwork,I am 53 and been awarded ssdi also because it said I was unable to work due to my SC disabilities,70 % arthritic pelvis and knees and 30% adjustment disorder secondary to the 70%, I go to the VA all the time but lately cause of the gas situation , missed a few appointments..should I be this worried? If I lose my IU I'am finished.I'am hopeing arthritus is a static disability, and I remember when Regan got in ,he cut us all..any advise to calm me down?

so as far as you can see from what I told you,I'am P&T?,thats what the NSO said to me but I wanted to hear it from someone else..lol Iam looking at surgury for the sacroilliac joints through ssdi and civilian doctor I got alot of mri evidance, does that help?
