  1. Yes you have a great chance of getting Unemployibilty hope they dont take 9 years like it did mine. Accounting was ordered by Washington to pay the total 9 years but they only paid 6 for which i filed a claim fir an audit i have yet to hear from. Good luck and God speed
  2. In 2003 my claim was being reviewed by the board in Washington DC, they requested my medical records from the Cleveland Rating Officer, at that time. Yet the RO choice to deny my claim for six more years making it all the way delayed until 2012. The RO then returned my files back to Washington who got in their case saying they had no right to delay or deny my claim and ordered them to pay my claim from April 2003 to Nov 2012. Well three months ago I was applying for medicare and needed to bring my reward letter from VA, while waiting to see a representative for medicare I read over the payment entitlement letter and low and be hold there in black in white, it shows a gap as follows paid Apr to dec 2003 to 2008 then 2009 through 2010 is missing and it jumps down to Dec 2011 to 2012. Therefore the auditor took it on themselvs to only pay for six years not the 9 years ordered by Washington. So I put in a new claim March 2016 requesting an audit for this award. Several times In the past months I am getting the run around as to the outcome of this claim. I am told it takes 60 days for a reply, well it is now June 16, 2016 well over 60 days. It took me 12 years to get my increase and tital dusability will it take another 12 for this audit to be reviewed? The Ohio Veterans Affairs is off the hook they have their own set of rules and regulations regardless to orders send down from a higher authorized office. Its about doing right by all Veterans not aware that they are not being compensated fairly. In 1999 there us a congressional order that each veteran be compensated from the time of their entering into the military as a whole physical being. To be paid fir injuries both physical as well as mental for which congress has since cut down to a few years because the average disabled veteran would be a millionaire if paid back to the time of original injury. The letter I am refering to is call "The supplemental agrument" dated 1999 so therefore those disabled are not being made whole monetary but thrown crumbs and treated without destiny and respect. I will post a copy fir each veteran ti review and ask congress why they fail to honor a Suoreme Court order?
  3. Don't hold your breathe I am still waiting on a amended claim that was supppose to be expendited in 2008 and this is 2011 even after a hardship letter written over a year ago from the state senate I still wait. Good luck by she was blowing smoke.
  4. I was told that I had no proof of the two rapes that happened to me in 1976. Yet there is proof of a Air Force Cover up for the two men responsible for my MST and PTSD. I committed suicide as a resolve of this that same evening and was found three days later after being left to die by the second rapist in my apartment. I was denied this in my claim yet for years I have been treated for MST and PTSD for which the rating board said none of it was documented. In my military records it is found that they tried to say I was in three stations during this assault. I was granted an early out soon after this and both men were allowed to retire even through VA claimed they could not locate either. I paid people finder in 2001 to get the information for the where about of both men and wrote them asking that they write a letter telling the truth for their roles in my many years of suffering. I did not get a reply from either. I lived in fright and did not go out of my house for years with many attempts to end my life not knowing why. I did not get any help for this until 2001 from the mental health team here in Cleveland Ohio. I was granted fifty percent for Migrane headaches and 10% for Major Depression and told that I am Bi Polar with many other systoms. I have been waiting 3 years for a decision on a remand from BVA which was suppose to be expendited in 2008 and I still am waiting to hear of a rating from it. I am so upset with the process of claims where it takes years even after you get to step 6 of that process. And DAV in the Cleveland arear is one big joke veterans are treated without respect and never ar they there to answer questions. I Developed my own claim without their help until I was granted a hearing for my claim some what is the use of using them to represent me if I cannot get any answers after waiting so lone for one? Please women of MST and PTSD beware they do no take us seriously and each case is different but still boils down to we were raped not only by the men who do it but the Veterans Adminstration as well. Sandra Collins, USAF, Cleveland Ohio.
  5. Well can you help me, I not only sent a hardship letter, it was sent to Senator Sherrod Brown and I still have yet to hear anything more about it and that was Dec 2010. You can reach me by email onlyluvchi@yahoo.com
  6. I have been for the life of me trying to figure out why Appeals Management Center, is holding up my claim? The regional Office keep telling that AMC is still waiting for my employment records for my old employers. Well I have not been in the Air Force since 1977, not worked at the Veterans Hospital since 1979 and not worked at the US Postal Service since 1997 so where do they think they would fine my work records? Ahh they are in St. Louis with everyone else's records who ever worked for the government or civil service. Than tell me why they wait 8 years to look for them, because they were told to experdite my claim way back in 2008 now its 2011 and they still waiting for the above information. Then it takes them 21 days to get a fax, 30 days to return a phone call. Wow are we in the world of computers or what or are we still writing on cave walls and riding horses? Come on Appeals Management Center, its the year 2011 not 1856. I have contact my state senator and they give him the run around also, then you can not I mean can not contact AMC because they will not give out their phone number. And this is the people in charge of our claims. I am one fed up sister I got approved by BVA for my benefits in 2008 it took them until 2009 to mail a check and continue with the rest of the amended appeal and was instructed to rush it? I have helped hundreds of other veterans with their appeal and they have gotten everything approved and gone about their business. People I have known since 2001 are not longer attending meetings at VA hospital but have moved out of state etc. Many of them did not deserve the benefits they received (they continue using drugs spend their benefits then return back to the VA hospital to get more.) and here I am one who has service connection injuries cant get my claim resolved, something is wrong with this picture.
