pretty tough math scale the va uses. so you essentially need 180% to equal 100% sc?

i am working part time, the rating guy put in his report that he has found my claim for depression due to sc injuries and pain are of sufficient severity that they meet the dsm 1v criteria for major depression as a direct result from the injuries. thanks for your help

i am currently rated at 80% with a sc total of 120% i was hoping that with thre depression rating being sc there may be an increase. is that possible?

yes it was for a comp and pension exam and i am claiming the depression is caused by the pain from my sc injuries

i just received my psych exam papers in the mail and here is what they say. my gaf score is 60 and he said i am DSM iv for major depression that in his opinion are caused by my sc injuries. i am currently 30%left hand 30%right hand 20% left foot 20%right foot 10%tinnitus and 10%broken clavicle oh yeah and he said the tinnitus was made worse by my sc injuriis and the pain from them also is causing the depression. he also listed i have panic attacks 2-3 times weekly but that is helped by the medication foe depression the va gives me. i am currently rated at 80%. any ideas what the rating board may think?? i really value the help you folks give thanks and god bless

thanks for the reply berta i am going to find out what the psychiatrist put in my exam as soon as i get it in the mail. yes it was for c and p. he only said that he would put in his report that my depression was directly caused by the sc disabilities i have. and that i am a manic depressant...he also added he hoped that all of this would work in my favor ,and good luck! i will let you know what the report says if you are interested thanks so much also no i have not for for ssdi or anything else

i am really learning the wealth of info you folks have. wow i have not filed for ssdi and currentl.y i am unemployed. the examiner and i really got along well although i did get rather emotional though he said that was ok . when he said he was going to put in the results he felt my depression was definately sc that made me feel good about the exam,though i am not sure about the manic depressant part. i did go up to the outpatient clinic today and requested for the exam file to be sent to me. what is tdiu? how many more % points will it take to get to one hundred if i am at one twenty(total) now? i realize i have a lot of questions but you folks seem to have really great answers thanks

i did not know you could get e copy of the c and p exam. what am i looking for in the report? thanks for the advice
