  1. I was found disabiled in 2006 thorugh social securtiy...i got loans up till 2007 and consolidated loan in 2008...I was wondering since i have been seeing my va doctors over the last coupple of years and i am at 70 percent disabilty thrugh va....When i fill out form to get my loan compeltely discharged do i ask my va dr to say i became competly disbialed around 2008 or so...i mean over last 3 years my condition have gotten worse and their not social securty tootaly realeted they are service connected ...i know when u get social security disiabilrty is like ur disablied but the form says if ur getting worse ..????
  2. I dont want to go to va voc rehab becasie if they say oh blah blah and it doesnt support my cliam ..then thier is a whole new problem..
  3. imo is out of the question...i try talking to my va theriapist dr...but he not very vveteran frendlily..lol changing dr that might work...i ask around....... outside therpist wuld cost money and i notice i nthe past on my claims that otside dr theripist nt hold much wieght?????
  4. i didnt complain of depression prior to my 2002 stabbing....i didnt apply for va benifits till 2004...since then i am 70% overall. I was thinking stupuidly that the va would be smart enough tg.hat with all my sc issues that they could say yes u have depreesion bc of stabbing but your sc issue casue depression too and make it worse?
  5. Long story short i keep getting denied sc for depression becasue of a non service connected stabbing....i was stabbed in my home and since then i went to the va for treatment of depression..that was a big mistake..lol they use that every time to say that my depression is present becasue of my stabbing and not becasue of my sc issues..... my sc issue is back, migrians, bilateral sciatia, ankle total of 70% overall.... i tried to to talk with my va phy dr about my depresison coming from my sc issues... but i see him like every 7 months and he just gives me meds and says ok. as i check medical record and it just says depression blah blha blah.. so i know it is a fight to get the va to quit blaming my depression on my stabbing and n my service connected issues....help here please.... i going to ask my va dr straight out if he can write something that says my sc issue are causing most of my depression.... i guess i could seek out a outside phy dr? i can see why they are dening me as no dr saying that my depressin is becasue of my service connected issues.. shuld i seek out a phy dr that will say i have depressin and it from my sc issues...or get him to say its mood disorder or pain disorder...mow i am not trying to scam the va but i have so many issue fro msc that i do have depresson but they give me nothing for it and just blame it on the stabbing ....
  6. wheel chair...is becasue my back and sciaticia bilateral also my ankle all sc issues... i can stand for very very short time....walking is maybe 2 or 3 steps...
  7. K...voc rehab? Im allready unemployable by non service disabilites as stated in my c and p exam award letter .just need it to be from my sc disabilities.... pro bono lawyer?where?
  8. ok.. i have no outside dr and they cost money...lol so trying to get the va dr to write it up is this a lost casue? they said i am unemployable so half the fight is done right? just got to get dt to say bc of my sc i am unepyable....?
  9. i got denied as i put up another thread about my denial letter...it right under this one..
  10. got the letter here te denial.. treatment records from vamc do not show that you are unable to work as result of your seervice connected disabilties.Records from Social Security indicate you have disability benifits since nov 2002 due to open wounds of the upper limb and anxiety related to the attack you suffered at your home. you are not service connected for these conditions. tdui is denied becasue you have not been found unable to secure or follow a substantially gainful occupation as a result of service connected disabilities. you are CONSIDERED unemployable due to nonservice-connected factors. the service connected disabilites when considered Apart from the nonservice connected conditions are not the casue of unemployability. im 40% back 30% migrians, 20% ankle and achillis tendnitis, 10% for left lower sciaticia and 10% for right lower sciaticia.... in a wheel chair....can stand for short time and cant really walk at all... ok now they say i am unemplyabile due to non service connection and service is not.... what do i do ? try to get my dr at the va to say i am unemplyable due to service conneced...this will be hard to say the least...lol

The nurse was saying something about this time of year with allergies ca ngive you vertigo??? I told them it starts when i had a migrian and they gave me vertigo meds!!! I havent seen the reports yet i hoping that they say my vertigo is related to my migrains but i dont think so ..lol i have a appionment with my nerou dr in about a month so i tell him also i can see the ER for this tsuff agian as it been happening about once a week with my migrains!!! thank you carlie for the response
  21. How is vertigo secondary to migrains rated? What code is it? Also i dont see any bva cases of it? perephial vestibular disorder is the only thing i see, but that not directly related to migrians? Diagnostic Codes 6100, 6204, 6205, 6260 (2007)." lengthy but worthy reading in total: "The veteran's Meniere's disease was initially rated under Diagnostic Code 6205. Under this code, a 30 percent rating is assigned for Meniere's syndrome with hearing impairment with vertigo less than once a month, with or without tinnitus. A 60 percent evaluation is in order when there is hearing impairment with attacks of vertigo and cerebellar gait occurring from one to four times a month, with or without tinnitus. A 100 percent rating is warranted when there is hearing impairment with attacks of vertigo and cerebellar gait occurring more than once weekly, with or without tinnitus. It is noted that Meniere's syndrome may be rated either under these criteria or by separately evaluating vertigo (as a peripheral vestibular disorder), hearing impairment, and tinnitus, whichever method results in a higher overall evaluation. An evaluation for hearing impairment, tinnitus, or vertigo may not be combined with an evaluation under Diagnostic Code 6205." HOW DOES THIS RELATED TO VERTIGO REALTED TO MIGRIANS?
